Who is Fred Bussman?

That can sometimes be a tough question to answer, but I'll try to do my best in these little pieces of cyberspace.

Education

I attended LeTourneau University in Longview, TX studying Computer Science and Engineering. While there, I learned several aspects of the computer industry, including the concepts of programming, hardware systems, diagnosing problems, graphic design, and many other areas of computer science.

I am also a Microsoft Certified Professional, having taken a Microsoft aptitude test to obtain this certification.

Work History

I have been working full-time in the computer industry for over 4 years. However, prior to that, I had several years of part-time work in the computer field while I was attending university and before. Since leaving school, I have worked as the Lead Engineer for a company in Virginia, where I spent much of my time keeping the 130+ computers up to date and repaired. In addition, I did a lot of custom programming and database work.

After Virginia, I moved to Harlingen, TX and was hired to set up the entire computer network structure for a new company forming in 2001. From the ground up, I designed and built the company's network, encompassing server installation, custom networking, security issues, virus protection, upgrades, email, programming, database design, and countless other tasks involved in a project of that size.

What is Brothers Again?

In 2003, after spending many years working for someone else, I felt that I had the skills necessary to branch out on my own and form my own consulting company. There are still many people who don't know how to fix their computer when it's broken. I want to help those people who, for whatever reason, don't want to spend their own time working on their computer. I felt it was time to move to Corpus Christi and help those who need it.
